Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key element to maximize the potential of your gear. It allows you to add extra bonus stats on top of your base level item's value.
Each upgrade template comes with several options that can be changed through the edition GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the chance to upgrade.
Upgrade components
As part of the 2.0 update the system for upgrading weapons and armor in Cyberpunk was redesigned. Upgrade components can be found all over Night City, and the item that you want to upgrade must have an upgrade slot. The game will display a preview of the item's expected stats after upgrading.
